The Tel Aviv Museum Of Art

Tel Aviv Museum Of Art is a spectacular museum, and it is the Israel biggest art museum. The museum is dedicated to the preservation and display of modern and contemporary art from Israel and around the world. The Tel Aviv Museum of Art was established in 1932 in a building that was the home of Tel Aviv’s first mayor, Meir Dizengoff. The museum also offers free audio tour in Hebrew, English and Arabic without any additional fee.

Tel Aviv Art Biennale

The Tel Aviv Museum of Art hosts the annual Tel Aviv Art Biennale, which showcases work from a diverse selection of both local and international artists. This biennial event celebrates the best of Israeli art for two weeks each April/May with special collections tailored towards exploring concepts like identity and exploration. With over 2,600 works displayed in 11 venues across the city, the Biennale attracts visitors from near and far alike to discover new perspectives on art and life in Tel Aviv.

 

The Weizmann House Exhibition

The Weizmann House Exhibition is one of the highlights of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art Biennale. This special collection offers a glimpse into the lives of Israel’s first President, Dr. Chaim Weizmann, and his wife Vera Weizmann. Through various mediums like paintings and sculptures, WWI archival material, photographs, documents, furniture and more; visitors dive deep into the couple’s life while exploring the story they left behind.

 

Special Exhibitions of the 20th Century Masters

Explore the works of 20th century masters like Wassily Kandinsky, Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali in the special exhibitions of Tel Aviv Museum of Art. Yackedim – Sculpture in Motion

Yackedim, an acclaimed installation at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, showcases life-sized sculptures by Israeli artist Yuval Pudik that capture physical movement and emotion. Each sculpture is made with a special clay which enables the artist to signify stills from a momentary gesture and attempt to recreate experiences which are otherwise fleeting and temporal in nature. Viewers can explore Yackedim’s works by walking through an immersive environment enriched with sound effects and dramatic lighting. This amazing experience is sure to captivate every visitor!
