Embarking on our journey, we soak in the breathtaking panoramic views of Jerusalem atop the iconic Mount of Scopus. Descending, we pass by the revered biblical sites of the Garden of Gethsemane, the Church of All Nations, and the Kidron Valley, home to monumental Jewish tombs. Navigating the Jewish Quarter, the ancient Cardo, a Byzantine-era main street, unfolds before us. Our pilgrimage includes a poignant pause at the Western Wall, where we place a heartfelt prayer note within the ancient stones. Continuing through the historic Via Dolorosa, we arrive at the awe-inspiring Church of the Holy Sepulchre, witnessing the sacred sites of Christ’s crucifixion and burial tomb. Following a delightful lunch and a stroll through the vibrant Old City bazaar, we transition to the modern landscape of new Jerusalem. As we traverse the contemporary city, our destination is the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum, where compelling exhibits feature authentic artifacts, original documents, captivating photos, and poignant video testimonials of Holocaust survivors.
