Where is the Eilat Coral Beach Nature Reserve located?

The Eilat Coral Beach Nature Reserve is located in the southernmost part of Israel, on the shores of the Red Sea. It covers an area of approximately 3 km2 and is bordered by Eilat city, the nearby Kitesurfing world center, and a nature park. Its turquoise waters are home to a vast array of marine creatures, including sharks, sea turtles, dolphins and colorful fish. In addition to its spectacular wildlife and stunning beauty, visitors can enjoy activities such as snorkeling, diving, birdwatching and more.

When is the Best Time to Visit the Reserve?

On cooler days in the middle of winter, many bird species can be seen along the Coral Beach Nature Reserve’s beaches. Flocks of flamingo and white pelicans move south from Europe to overwinter here during these months. Springtime offers some of the most beautiful blooms as desert flowers come into bloom around April and May.
