Itinerary
Day 1: Jerusalem and Bethlehem
Embark on a transformative journey to some of the holiest Christian landmarks globally – Jerusalem and Bethlehem. Our exploration commences at the breathtaking Mount Scopus, offering a panoramic spectacle of Jerusalem. Traversing through the revered sites including the Garden of Gethsemane, the Church of All Nations, and Kidron Valley, we make our way to the Old City. In the heart of the Jewish Quarter, our itinerary unfolds with visits to the Byzantine Cardo and the Western Wall. Continuing along the Via Dolorosa, retracing the steps of Jesus carrying his cross, we reach the iconic Church of the Holy Sepulchre. This 12th-century marvel encompasses the poignant sites of Calvary’s crucifixion and the burial tomb of Christ. Departing from the spiritual ambiance of Jerusalem, our pilgrimage extends to Bethlehem. At Manger Square, we explore the Basilica of the Nativity, housing the Grotto of the Nativity, the very site where Jesus was born. Delve into history with the original excavated mosaic from the 4th century, dating back to the construction of the first church by St. Helen. If feasible, our sojourn includes a visit to the chapel caves beneath the Church of Saint Catherine. As we bid farewell to Bethlehem, our return journey takes us back to the hotels, concluding this soul-stirring expedition.
Day 2: Dead Sea Relaxation
Embark on this rejuvenating Dead Sea day trip to truly unwind and release all that built-up tension and stress. Departing from Jerusalem, the journey winds through the picturesque Judean Hills, passing by the historic Inn of the Good Samaritan before heading southward. A brief pause for a photo opportunity at the iconic “sea level” sign precedes our descent to the Dead Sea, situated at a remarkable 430 meters below sea level – marking it as the lowest point on Earth. Indulge in relaxation at one of the finest Dead Sea beaches, basking in the sun that boasts the lowest UVB rays on Earth. Immerse yourself in the mineral-rich Dead Sea mud and take a refreshing swim in the uniquely buoyant waters. With a salinity 8.5 times higher than the ocean, floating effortlessly becomes a delightful reality. The Dead Sea’s environment not only offers these unique experiences but also provides natural health and beauty benefits, leaving visitors with an all-encompassing sense of well-being.
